Human Skills Aren’t Soft Skills
Over the years, I have taught many "soft skills", such as confidence, presentation, and communication skills, and I continue to do so. But I've always struggled to see them as "soft".
Lately, I've noticed some people referring to them as "human skills", and I think this fits far better.
Skills like leadership, communication, empathy, and active listening aren't just nice-to-have; they are essential. They shape environments where people feel heard, valued, and able to thrive.
These skills were never soft.
