Sometimes, “Good Enough” Really is Good Enough

Have you ever noticed how we often confuse perfectionism with having high standards?

Perfectionism tells you to keep tweaking and polishing… just one more revision… just one more improvement. But there’s a point where the extra effort stops adding value and starts reducing it. It becomes especially problematic when perfectionism prevents you from finishing something important.

“Good enough” is a boundary: a signal that your time, energy, or attention is better spent elsewhere. It’s a key ingredient in sustainable productivity.

High performance isn’t always about pushing harder. It’s about knowing where to focus and when to stop.

Sometimes, done is better than perfect, and “good enough” really is good enough.
