Keep a Smile File

One of my favourite low-effort, big-reward wellbeing tips is to keep a Smile File.

This is how to do it:

  1. Set up a subfolder under your email inbox called SMILE 😃.

  2. When you get a positive email, for example, someone saying thank you, sharing feedback, or acknowledging your work, move it to that folder.

  3. Next time you are having a bad day, read a few messages from your Smile File.

That's it. It won't solve all your problems, but it will give you a much-needed boost.

Will you set up a Smile File today? Do you already have one (or something similar)? Let me know in the comments, I'd love to hear from you.
